Happy Sunday friends! I hope that everyone has slowly been recovering from the past holiday and ready to start a new week 🙂
My Canada Day, as I am sure many others have experienced this year, was quite different than it has been previous years. I was unable to go out to the beach or have brunch with my friends, but nonetheless, this holiday has always been a time to spend with my family and loved ones in happy celebration, and that has certainly not changed.
With this crazy hot weather recently, all I have wanted to do is sit by the pool and drink cocktails all day long! Thankfully, I was lucky enough this holiday week to do just that. It was so nice to just relax with my family and spend the extra time we had together. We even managed to sneak a view of some awesome fireworks from our backyard!
I might have snacked all day long and had a few extra cocktails, but hey, what are holidays for?!

Today’s Look:
If I am being honest, I was in this dress for a total of five minutes before changing into my bikini cause it was just too darn hot!
But, I felt the need to show some festive spirit and sport some lovely candy apple red at least for a little bit.
This wrap dress is from the Gap and I bought it half off, for such a good price! It is soo cute for the summer and so effortless to wear, especially during this wild heat wave!
I am also a sucker for cute minimal accessories because I think they can really up a look! I wore a little red (festive) bow in my hair so that I could still wear it down the way I like it, but have a good chunk of hair out of my face that somehow always gets in the way!
